Harry Korman. There was a Post-Conference workshop with Mark McKergow on "iFLOW: Deliver More, Stress Less."
Delegates at the 3rd Asia Pacific Solution Focused Approach Conference
Day One
Day one began with an interesting and thought-provoking plenary by Mark McKergow and Harry Korman
on "Inbetween" where they talked about the basics of SF as being defined by what we do as well as what
we don't do as SF practitioners.
This was followed by four workshops nominated by participants as topics of interest.
Parent as Coach, Edwin Choy Marriage & Families, Debbie Hogan

SF in Organizations, Lilian Ing Tools & Activities, Denise Wright & Lilian Ing

Peter Szabo presented the second plenary on "Coaching Reloaded - The Impact of SF" and entertained us
with his humor and enlightened us with his creative use of the scaling tool. He challenged us to think of
our role as a coaches as being good observers and "witnesses" in the progress our clients make.

The first evening of the conference, the participants enjoyed a BBQ dinner on the beach on Jimbaran Bay
where they feasted on fish, prawns and other local dishes.

Day Two
Day Two began with Mark McKergow presenting a plenary on "The Locust and the Bee: Why SF Consulting
is the Way Forward in Organizations". Mark used the metaphor of locust-consultants and bee-consultants
as a way of demonstrating how SF practitioners are more like bees that locusts.
This was followed by another round of four different workshops based on topics of interest.
SF Coaching, Chris Robinson Groups & Teams, Lilian Ing & Denise Wright
SF with Children & Adolescents, Alan Yeo SF in Education, Dave & Debbie Hogan
A panel discussion was lead by Jenny Clarke, Peter Szabo, Jocelyne Korman, Harry Korman, Mark McKergow
and Chris Robinson on "The Future and Evolution of SF." Some very interesting questions were raised by the
attendees. The conference ended with a powerful and moving documentary by Dewitt Jones, a National
Geographic photographer, entitled, "Celebrate What's Right With The World."
