SFBT Workshop: Supporting clients with Mental Health Challenges
Coach/ Trainer: Baijesh Ramesh
Dates: 9-10 April 2026
Time: SGT 9am to 5pm
Delivery Method: Online Training
Synopsis
Clinicians are often trained to treat diagnoses rather than people, leading to fragmented care when clients present with complex challenges.
This workshop presents Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) as a transdiagnostic, process-centered approach to change. Rather than focusing on the mechanics of specific disorders, SFBT targets universal mechanisms that support therapeutic progress across contexts.
Participants will explore how solution-focused conversations activate these processes to generate meaningful change, even in complex clinical situations.
