Description:

Working with children & adolescents invites practitioners into a dynamic world of play, imagination, and rapid developmental change. This workshop explores how Solution-Focused Brief Therapy can be developmentally attuned, adapting to children’s cognitive, emotional, and communicative capacities, as well as their everyday ecological contexts.

Participants will engage with practical, evidence-informed approaches to identifying and amplifying children’s strengths and resources, while collaboratively co-constructing desired outcomes- often in partnership with parents and educators. The session offers flexible, practice-ready strategies applicable across therapeutic, school counselling, classroom, and family settings, with the aim of fostering agency, resilience, and hope in developmentally meaningful ways.
